David Wells Perfect Game Carry Off 8 x 10 Photo - David Wells had two tenures as a pitcher with the New York Yankees spanning 1997-1998 and 2002-2003. Wells won the World Series with the Bombers in 1998 and earlier that same year on May 17th in a game against the Minnesota Twins he threw the first perfect game by a Yankees pitcher since Don Larsen in the 1956 World Series.
